Reviews

I bought this vacuum as it should have a large tube for pet hair. After the first use of the hose, it was lying, and it routinely falling from the shelves while vacuuming. Appendix terrible comb holder, and a comb attachment loss immediately after purchase. Fortunately, I had a replacement of the old vacuum to use while didn 't fit on the vacuum itself. The "power claw " attachment is a joke, so I never use it. Vacuum does have great suction, both tubes and the floor, but the vacuum constantly clogged with my dog 's long hair. I contantly unclogging it. Then when I had almost lost patience with this tool, a cheap, plastic pedal release came off. R rI would give me a star I do not use vacuum for 2 years. It works great when working. I 've finally had enough with it and have decided to get a new vacuum.

bought this as a replacement for a previous model that Eureka died of a scarf being dragged towards him (long story ...). Once again I did my research online and check various websites to determine the best vacuum bags. Again, the Eureka was on the list and the price was low. I got it in 2 days from the Amazon and the boy was even more please with the updated model and makes my carpet look new Brandy gets all the dirt embedded. The nap on the carpet is cool and the power of suction is also fabulous. Can 't go wrong with that product or pricing. I already own the cleaning Hoover Windtunnel, and frankly, are too strong and didn 't do as good a job as of Eureka.

I am disgusted by this vacuum and this one in particular Eureka - Eureka buy at your own risk. I had problems with the tube almost immediately after only the use of light. The end of plastic tip of the tube begin to shake as if it were made of thin glass. And, even worse, the tube Tore where links with the plastic rod ends. By the time I got around to calling Eureka, my warranty had expired so they told me to go sand Pound (though this is a serious design problem). R rAnother problem I experienced is, sometimes when I turn on the VAC on a huge dirt cloud spewed from the VCA (although there are no obstructions, and the stock is fresh and correctly installed). I 'm not sure, but it could have been accidental because I had the hose / floor setting is "pipe " and setting the brush on "plan ". However, this is probably a common control, and you should 't be rejected because dirt throughout the house (kind of defeats the purpose of having a vacuum). R rI made a tape repairs on the tube who worked for a while ', but was forced to fork over a heap of money for a new tube. R rUnless Eureka has addressed their serious problems with this vac, and has made the mistake of buying, I highly recommend strengthening the connection with the pipe or rod with tape, or you too will soon be buying a new tube. R rAnother infuriating conclusion is that the pipe is too short, should be approximately 3 'long - will drive you crazy. R rI are the property Vacs many in the past and had no problems like these, especially with tubes falling apart. R rI will say that the VAC have excellent suction, but that doesn 't help much if your vac blows dirt and pipes throughout the house fall apart. R rEureka should all return together with interest and an apology for this pile of garbage that have continued to push on unsuspecting consumers. My rating of three stars was too generous.

It's a lot of vacuum for not much money. What I like most is the ability to turn off the brush roller-floor: it switches off automatically when the vacuum is upright or when the carpet near the height adjustment switch is pressed. You get all the benefits in Canister in the upright, which is easier to move. Vacuum power is very good. Switches to the floor or Hose (attachment) located waist-height (big yellow dial on the right). Machine was solid but not heavy. Although not as quiet as some (eg Electrolux Oxygen), does not interfere with noise, either (I don 't hold a conversation or listen to the radio while vacuuming, anyway). Long cord means you do not change plugs all the time. A clear plastic cover on the rollers to make clear if the roller brush on or off. HEPA filter which means cleaner air is vented. I have to be rebuilt, which is sent with minimal packaging (yeah!) And looks fine, but no attachments pet-hair/riser (ignored). No one can make fun of dust but it makes not too bad.

This vacuum works only for a month or 2.After that all parts are detached. Suction gone, broken belt, its a piece of rock. complete waste of money

The first couple of times I used my wood floors, was perfect. However, after about 5 uses, it began to make a sort of vacuum where it becomes stuck and I have to kind of pick up the vacuum to reset it. I also don 't see the roll on the floor "rolling ' and I 'm vacuum rolls and only sometimes I ' m not sure if it 's normal. But it gets the job done very well . It can be kind of heavy, but nothing extraordinary. Easy to handle.

I'm a smart buyer with Consumer Reports and always do my research before I buy anything. I just read, as do products that have the refuge of their proven reliability and their work, Eureka Consumer Reports rated this model very well. The price was good and I like the plants directly on the vacuum, good idea. I have allergies and really want the dust, dirt and away from my pile carpets. I have bought other lightweight vacuum cleaners, but the force is simply not there to suck the dirt.

Easy to use, control, and practical. After reviewing the different brands and models, we believe that this is the best all around vacuum cleaner best price.

I was very skeptical, but a little research and discovered that this gap was getting a lot of premium brands for consumers and professional reviewers. I 've spend two to three times the retail of equipment in the past. This is by far the best I 've ever used. It absorbs more dirt than the Dyson vacuum cleaner and you 've had before. The only drawbacks I 'I have noticed are: 1) does not have much storage on board accessories, including the "foot " device, 2) if you can call this a disadvantage its suction is so strong that it takes some effort to pull him back for the next step. And often we have to change the bag more.

This is my second, and final boss. The first vacuum did a great job cleaning my carpet for 3 years, and then the engine died. I was disappointed, but accept it because it 's age. I bought the second excited and happy dust for 3 months ... until the engine died. R rSorry Eureka, never again.

I have this Eureka vacuum by Fedex yesterday afternoon, 11/10/09. I ran the vacuum and found it is more powerful than Hoover, Dyson, Electroux and other brands. I was glad that it takes a lot of dirt from my carpet has left than my old Electrolux vacuum cleaner behind her. The Eureka has the job really easy and it takes cat hair, Wow! My parents had an old Eureka back in the old days in the 30 's until 1971. I was not finished in first three Electrolux Which was enough to use and burn-out before and after ten years. I wanted to try other vacuum cleaner that I did not like. I wanted to try the Eureka last, which makes it a try and the way it might work. Then I brought it. I 'm glad that went back to the old days, same as the Eureka does the job and now it' s even more powerful vacuum than others on the market. Try one on each Eureka vacuum models and you will like very much to me as I am. Brownbats

My carpet is old but had finally gotten to the point where it was stained so badly, no matter how many times I cleaned it, the stains kept coming back, not matter what I tried, and I tried EVERYTHING! As a final last desperate act, I looked for a vacuum on Amazon, and after reading all the rave reviews on this one, I bought it - and it worked! After vacuuming my carpets with this vacuum, I was finally able to get them clean with my steam cleaner. I guess my old vacuum was so feeble that it was leaving so much dirt in the carpet that the cleaner just couldn 't do it ' s job efficiently - I think with all that dirt in there (I have three huge dogs who live in the house, but love playing in the dirt and mud) trying to clean it was just making the stains worse. Now my carpets are finally clean again and I 'm having to steam clean them only rarely, because this vacuum gets pretty much everything up to the point where I don ' t have to clean it so often! I was on the point of ripping my carpet out and buying new carpet, so this vacuum was well worth the price - it gave my carpet a few more years lease on life!

I am very happy with this vacuum. It attacks very well, and I think it's quiet compared to my old vacuum. R rI think you get it right on the carpet height adjustment - if it isn 't pick up good, it ' s probably too low in September. Also, the foot-key that is to release the upright position of the handle a little funky. I'm actually working on it and I 'm afraid it will be a day off.

I owned one Eureka Boss broom and decided to buy another one so I could have one above and one below. I am a Kirby sweeper and wound up hating it. The Eureka Boss has powerful suction, and having a hose and attachments on the board ready to go is wonderful. I have asthma and my doctor also recommended it.

I thought I 'd finally found a vacuum that ' didn t clog easily (because the dirt road is more direct in the bag) and almost did what I wanted. However, as others have noted the plastic does not break. The release mechanism of the locked upright to allow the vacuum cleaner is difficult to operate and the design does not seem to be a very good condition. He eventually broke. When I called the "800 " is about service I find the closest warranty service is about 130 miles away, even if Eureka lists nine stores selling products in the city. The other problem I found is that you don 't talk to a live person: Eureka provides a number for "service " with four options and press "Y " c ' do well. This is so typical of many companies. I won 't deal with this attitude so its going back!

I 've had the vac for about a month and love it. But it is heavy, the power is worth the weight. Easy to switch between the floor and carpeting, easy storage for accessories and large pick-up power.

I was in the market for a new vacuum. My old one sucked into the dirt and spit it right back out. This one is a welcome change: powerful suction, great cleaning ability. I 've not had it long enough to speak to the durability of the item but it really sucks up the dirt. One of my concerns is the design. Having to adjust the height at the bottom of the machine is not good for a home with hardwood floors and lots of heavy area rugs. The on / off switch is inconveniently located and the foot pedal release mechanism is inconveniently placed. Once all of those things are adjusted, it does what a vacuum is supposed to do. If I were older, smaller, or Weaker, I might have trouble working with this machine. It is quite heavy. However, it does what needs doing in my house.

I 'I had this gap of 8 months and I've had absolutely no problem with him. As mentioned by others, a little heavier than some gaps, but has incredible suction. After using this vacuum for the first time, my carpet looked better than it was in years (which doesn 't say much for my previous empty). Leg power is a good idea, and the hose is easy to separate and use with attachments. I agree with those who have commented on the release switches for the handle. Once you figure out exactly where to press down, it opens easily. Just a point to figure it out. In general, 'sa great vacuum for the money, and I have been very happy with this purchase.

I 'm buying a 2nd day. I 'I had a broken plastic parts, bags filled quickly, but the GH is attributed to the high vacuum suction. Other vacuum cleaners are not going to fill a bag of similar size to rtwice time in the same environment - and generally cost more. Vacuums with high-end aspiration rsame will cost 3 times the cost. I 've had my 5-year and although it beat Rand are not as good as before .... works so well as he did one day. I 'll always rin and use of the basement in the new areas of life for the next five years for $ 147 r + shipping. That 's $ 30/year and does the job without creating residual dust. I 've ROWN many, but not half as good as "The Chief ".

This gap has cost me almost as much in the drive belts, as I paid.

Oh my gosh, I just love this vacuum! Firstly, it 's so clean, because when you turn on the bare floor option, the brush does not rotate, then it just sucks all the dirt without throwing around (hardwood flooring). LOVE IT! Yes, it is a bit heavy and bulky, but don 't matter, it makes our place look incredible once it has finished vacuuming. The air filtration awesome, and I like that there is an empty bag.

We 've owned this vacuum for 5 years, and we use to clean the whole house (w / carpet), pet (w / bulky waste) and garage (w / sand and stone) every day. We just can 't find anything better than that, with this price. R RHER are the reasons that we like. R-The running costs are low! Until we use our everyday vac, replace the filter bag (cost about $ 5 to 3) every 2 weeks. The annual cost is very low. Until now, we never replace the HEPA filter, the filter belt and the interior. They are like new after 5 years of use! R R it 's powerful! We 've tried Dyson Ball and find that they have about the same cleaning power. We 've tried to clean our carpet with this empty area (with the way half bag) and clean it later with the Dyson. Dyson of the can is nearly empty. R R it 's quiet! Comparing and Dirt Devil Dyson, this is much more relaxed and our pet is not complaining. R RWE can 't find anything better than this empty.

The shipment was excellent and the vacuum was easy to assemble. Looks like a great job and almost takes off without me. It 'sa bit heavy, but I'd be more than one work right?

Great vacuum. I love the suction pipe is nice and long not to break the back, the cable is long I Don 't have to change outlets as frequent, and ' s great to be able to turn off the bristles and rolling the main vacuum hose. It's a little heavy, but I would sacrifice the weight of energy.

This is a great vacuum with a lot of power. It cleans well on carpet and wooden floor. Annex tube works very well on furniture and carpets, hard to reach areas of pet hair. I was very surprised how much power the suction pipe had. The tube may be a little 'more for ease of cleaning stairs, but otherwise very useful. Easy to switch from portrait to intake tube. A bit 'more difficult to switch from carpet to bare floor, as the switch of clubs and to use excessive force. Is not much heavier than the previous emptiness I 've had. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.
