Reviews
I bought the RP and the mother had for 6 months or more. Each time you use, reminds you why I don 't use it. Do not clean as well and the cushions are placed outside the second time I've used the MOP. THE PADS SO DON 'T STAY IN GOOD. I CAN ONLY HALF NET cooking water before adding more. I LOVE TO CLEAN, but home and told me that only MOP YOU A TOTAL OF 4 times in 6 months or more due to the action. Its a waste of money.
Overall, complaints about the handling being weak, very cheap and plastic parts, etc ... All are true. At first the ship worked well but less than a year to steam function that leave - water heats up, nothing comes out. Machine but not opened it expecting to see the mineral deposits clogging the sprinkler but everything appeared in working order. The steam pump still works but is useless (as another reviewer follow). Also the cord is quite a heavy gauge plastic and are holding the cord with the neck of the handle is much too small to even hold it. I can see that this product is not also the price down from a year ago ... The most positive reviews of this product is what nudged me to buy it, I say, looking something for other people.
Sturdier than other brands I tried. The front spray of steam seems to shoot too high. The carpet caddy is difficult to use with the pads. It does work fairly well on lightly soiled floors. Better than most.
We moved to a house with a pile of bricks and wood, and after a year to avoid cleaning my house because of time and effort required and being embarrassed by the dirt on your feet and socks, I decided it was time to find a solution. I began to investigate steam mop, largely because we have also started to go green and it seemed the perfect solution. I started with the shark, and critics were terrible in terms of strength of the handle. Then I looked at some of the cheaper models available at big box stores, and another, the revisions were not so great. The criticisms were better for Haan and the monster, which was again concentrated there. By chance, my neighbor called me to tell me that Big Lots had sharks in the venda and was receiving for his daughter because he liked it, I do not want one? I said "no ", but I can give her a test run? Being a good neighbor, she said yes. I tell you, I loved that stinking MOP. He had my floors so clean and took a fraction of the time. I doubt continue between the shark (She 'd it was a year without problems) and the Monster, but I found a good business here in the Amazon and decided to stick with the monster. I'm so happy I did! The Monster is soooooooo much easier to push the shark. In addition, the platform, so the cleaning of surfaces is much larger. We also liked the jets of steam for use throughout the bathroom and the shower a lot. The psychological thrill me to the fact that the steam jet of super hot 2 children go to the bathroom is important .... The steaming are also good for staying stuck out articles. The goal is a little practice, but a couple of attacks with all that were necessary for most problem areas. Shark heats much faster, but 'doesn t have much water or get as hot as the Monster. I do not 't say that the handle is solid rock in the Monster, but all the reviews I ' I read in many places seems to indicate that 's not so much the problem is with the shark. I 've only met one who said he actually broke while I read reviews shark always complained that break. The Haan seems to be a good brand too, but I liked the look of the Monster better because it 's the address was. Frankly, if I 'd never heard of the monster and only uses the shark would have been quite happy to use it more than balances. However, now that you 've used both, I must say that the monster shark beats hands down. Do not use this to go on the carpet because it does not seem a good solution. Why should I steam my carpets without sucking? Maybe 'sa European thing. However, as a solution to hard surfaces, and in reference to 2 children, the scream from the top of the mountains ..... I LOVE THIS MONSTER!
lame rE 220 degrees. very hot rH 212 degrees. hot rm 266 degrees. ... although the hottest envirosteamer and corporations seemed hot enough. Shark didn 't clean as well and this was one reason. 110 degrees just isn 't going to melt had been arrested in grime. RB 125 degrees. Note that, because of this low-temperature vapor of the manual said that if I wanted to disinfect the floor or get stiff on the tides, I had to hold the ship in place for 15 seconds, but no more than 20 because it could damage some floors. R rsize : The higher the less steep, the wider the mop head, it covers RS: 40 "Hx12 " WX7 "D Re: 50 " Hx13.25 " Wx6.75 "D (the fact that this depth was less did get under applicances ... fits better with better things) RH: 50.5x11.5x7.5 RM: 48x12.7.5 RB: 45.25 H (this was an uncomfortable short) x11 x8.4 (though it doesn 't fit in offices because of the depth that has the best working) r rConclusion comparison: first it must be stressed that in order to use the shark and Bissell, you had to keep pumping the water. This was the most annoying of all ... others only cooked on their own and doesn 't wear your fingers. I hated that feature shark and Bissell. We liked the Monster and the Shark and Envirosteamer and Bissell came with 2 cleaning pads, instead of one. The Haan came with only one during the exam (I double checked since she bought her when she was only one and also from today, that hasn 't changed) so that raises the price even more because I can not imagine that just want a cleaning. Everything worked well in sanitizing mattresses and showers. too. R Rbut the winner chosen by us all, unanimously, as the mop we want for our next order of steam mop? Rthe Eureka Envirosteamer. He took most of the dirt, was made and the monster, but was less expensive, held most of the water vapor emitted over very hot so sanitized, and lasted 3 times longer with a fillup resevor water as others, and had a rope, while the monster. But if you have carpets that I would recommend the monster, because he has a carpet attachment that allows you to steam clean your carpets and he got very close to the same amount of dirt that Envirosteamer Eureka, and had nearly the same characteristics. .. a little heavier, but still can make it last even longer. It's expensive, but clean surfaces 2 I would think that would make it worthwhile. R rUPDATE: The Haan has just begun, including 2 pillows with a mop according to the description page of the product. Not that it changes our opinion, since the work 't did well and the pieces were more fragile, but it should be noted that this issue of not having enough cleaning pads has been resolved and is equal to the other MOPS. R rANOTHER UPDATE: 1. The shark came out with a new machine that contains more water and has a long cord but still only heats water to 110 degrees so it won 't clean up or get rid of dirt stuck in "Bathwater ' temperature. R rAnother update: I haven 't tried it yet but was told about an even better than the Eureka mop Envirosteamer but I can ' t pay them personally ... yet it 's worth mentioning the case you can. It 's called the Ladybug XL2300 and is a box of steam mop. It heats water to 298 degrees (wow!) So it ' sa super sanitizers but it 's more than a thousand dollars. It also comes with 6 towels. I didn 't include it in my opinion, because I haven ' t ever tried and I just wanted to include MOPS I personally tried, but it 's got great stats enough that, even if 's in my price range, I thought I ' d pass it as a super-sanitizers when I read about it. R RALS : Don 't spend money buying extra pillows for Eureka. I was in a pinch and used a towel from the kitchen ... the rectangular kind ... just clip on both ends. It worked as good or better ... because they are thinner so that the steam penetrates quickly and therefore hotter hits the ground. However, I still recommend using only the thick pads that come with it to the wooden floor just to be safe. But the super hot steam towel, soaking the plate worked great on tile and hard surfaces. In addition, you can turn both the towel and pillows that come with it on the Eureka to duplicate the use ... when it gets dirty, just open it and use the other side. I use several pieces of old dish with this, but I like more the type that only has a little texture, but not square stitched on them ... but all a great job. So do the pads .....
I bought this steam about 8 months. I do a good job. I have a lot of wood flooring, even in the kitchen and cleaning materials typical around the stove, dishwasher and sink. It works well on hard surfaces like tile or laminate floor. Not cleaning the mortar on the tile. Actually have not tried the carpet. Hardwood in a little effort is required as the platform usually more moisture resistant timber with tile or other surfaces. The steam takes 5 minutes to heat. R GH Monster bought the unit over the other based on feedback and what appears to be the best building in general, except as noted below. R rthe handle the unit that I bought broke in 'Half this weekend. It was very difficult to keep the pieces from top and bottom screwed force. I called the customer service number - 888-896-8786 - and offered to send a new and redesigned handle. Think if the bottom of its curved handle is more prone to break in the middle. They explained that they had numerous complaints like mine. The new instructions mango is supposed to arrive later this week for free. R rUPDATE: I received the new shaft today, a week from dat what I call the dealer. Unlike the original curved handle are screwed together at the center, the new handle is straight and is a telescopic "a " design. The metal used appears to be a little heavier too. I briefly tested the new design and seems to overcome the problem with the original coils together in the center. The old loose when they met, and finally broke the swinging motion and pressure. Does not become the new "loose " and doesn 't flex. Much better. If you have the old crank and Hasna ' t broken but do yourself a favor and call for the new.
My new Monster Floor Cleaner has been delivered until 9 months ago. It was used when given one weeks 500 m² structured ceramic tiles on concrete slab, to clean there. It has a very good job cleaning. I distilled water only and purchased additional pads. It is often necessary repairs during the 35-40 uses, and I think it is beyond repair. Here is what went wrong: r rThe jets in the front of the cleaner seem like a great idea, but may create more problems than they're worth. They blow straight out, so that nothing is solved. Instead, loose dirt to get blown out of control. The jet trigger is in the handle and open the steam valve on a wire that comes out of the train and stuck from time to time. The nozzles tend to clog up when the cleaner into the things bangs. One could simply forget to run the cleaning of the jets, but the control line is the reason to treat the breaks. The two parts of the handle are connected by a plastic connector that the trigger wire and goes isn 't be as robust as it should be. Mine broke twice. I carefully repaired it once and gave up when she broke out again six months later. R rThe mistake I think is a show stopper is the steam valve floor. You turn on the steam when the handle is raised and controls the amount of water vapor. Mine was a little temperamental at the beginning, but it works reliably for several months. A few months ago it started sticking again, getting worse. Steam flow is through plastic tubing, soft and kinks. Valve between the hose and it was not finally be ready on the ground before the steam cut. R ri love and wipe the floor with steam. The monsters isn 't hard enough though for my floor. It isn 't quite hot enough for tile laid on a concrete slab. The grip is weak. The valves and hoses are not robust and reliable over time. The steam control and the jets seem to be nice, but give other weaknesses in the design.
Monster Floor EZ1 Steam Mop and Floor Cleaner, 1000W r rVERY disappointed. SOLD BY Allbrands WHO REFUSED TO RETURN. R acquired rI multiple items from Amazon and ALWAYS happy. THE FIRST time I a bad product, NO RETURN ALLOWED. R rTHIS product should not BE OFFERED BY Amazom.
Was hesitant about steam cleaning the floor, but gave this one a try and I'm glad I did! This is a no-brainer to use and doing a fantastic job. My Airedale dog seems to have the entire 12 feet with footprints and the steamer was getting the job done on the first trial in Solarium, tiles and wood floors. Sounds strange, but it seems to keep floors clean longer. I love it, and have recommended to all my friends.
I love my new Monster. I have about 2000sq ft of tile in my house and used to spend 2 or more hours mopping my floors. Now my floor cleaning time is cut in half, plus my back does not kill me afterwards. RI had been looking at buying a steam mop when a friend of mine said she had bought the Monster and loved it. So I looked at the reviews on Amazon and Decided to go ahead and purchase the Monster. The Monster does all the work for you. The steam does a great job of cleaning. The first time I used the Monster I thought this was too easy and must not being doing that great of a job. When I finished I took a Clorox wipe and wiped it over a tile to see if it was clean. The wipe came up clean. The Monster really works. RFor the reviews that say the handle is flimsy, the first piece of paper that you see in the box has a big X over someone pushing down on the Monster handle and says let the Monster do the work for you. So if you follow the instructions your handle should not break.
I bought the monster several months ago. I used to pay for weekly housecleaning and was clean so frustrated that they never got my floor, I have over 500 sq. feet of mexican paver tiles. Fired the cleaners and use my Monster and I am so happy with the results. My floors are shiny now. The floor dries almost instantly and the pads do a great job at getting up the grime. My gripe is that this item should have come with more pads, because 2 doesn 't do the job. I am buying some extra pads. The quality of the machine is good. I had trouble putting the on and properly handle called the 800 number. They were prompt at answering, and walked me through it. I agree with the other reviewers that the design of the mop prevents me from cleaning all the way under the cabinet toe-kick. We have a walk-in shower done in travertine and I use the monster in there too. It works really well on the natural stone.
We have had this steam for about six months and it worked very well until a broken arm to the yoke mi ... It is a very cheap plastic and fragile tightens the screws and arms. I am always looking for a repair or replacement parts. R rMay should try another steamer if I don 't fix it.
Monster Floor EZ1 Steam mop and Floor Cleaner, 1000W rThis is the 3rd steam mop I purchased. 1st not purchased the Haan which is good, but the cord is long enough so I gave it to my daughter living in an apartment. 2nd is the Bissell steam mop I put way to much power making excessive water on the floor. It also started leaking and I didn 't like cleaning pads. The Monster steam mop is just perfect to me. Nice long cord and heats the water very quickly and just the right amount of steam that allows the floor to dry quickly. I love it and would highly recommend it.
I have very old Saltillo tile in my house and cleaned NOTHING! I did my research and I found this little gem. It works really well on my tile. I have grandchildren and pets and I use this 3 to 4 times per week with excellent results. I do not want the mop head was inclined to get behind the toilet but other than that I say 'buy its good!
This is one amazing machine. It was a snap to put on the handle and then it was ready to go. I have only used it on my kitchen floor but it worked fantastic! It 's very easy to push around on the flood and leaves the floor virtually dry. I love it and it is so easy on the back. No more hands and knees for me. The only reason I didn 't give it five starts is because it can ' t fit right up under my cabinets so I still have to clean there by hand. Which really isn 'ta problem it ' s just that for this price you 'd think there ' d be a better design. I would recommend the Monster Steam Mop to anyone looking for a steam mop.
I received my refurbished Monster EZ1 by UPS three days ago. It was shipped promptly and in new condition. I have only tile floors and they were very dirty because we live on a farm. I have two kids under two so I hate to use chemicals. I love this steamer. It appears to be made very well. Nothing is flimsy. I turned the steam on high and it easily cleaned up everything: dried on food, dirt and even black mold that was growing under the toy box. Now my whole floor is cleaner than it ever got with a mop and bucket. The best part is that it is so quiet I can clean while my husband is working and the kids are sleeping. The floor dries almost instantly so I don 't have to mop and then leave the house. I find it far easier to push than my mop and I don 't have to carry around a bucket of water. I am 5 '8 "and the handle is plenty long. I have a very bad back and this is not a problem for me to use this mop. I would highly recommend this steam mop.
